150 for 60 Walking Challenge

Enter our 60 Day Walk Challenge and $10 of each entry will go into a prize pot to be won by following the rules of the contest! Contest starts Jan 1 – Mar 1. Draw March 5th

Canadian health guidelines encourage 150minutes of cardiovascular exercise each week. We want to help encourage  a new healthy habit with our walking challenge. Commit to walking 5x a week for 30 minutes to reach the 150 minute goal. Push past life’s curve balls and see what 30 minutes a day can do for your mood, physical health and spirit!

Join in the challenge to stay accountable and have some fun competition to keep you motivated!

Win the pot by posting your journey in our JADEFit Community on Facebook. Posts can happen daily, or weekly but must have “evidence” of you walking each time. This could be a picture or short video of your outing or a screenshot of your fitness tracker. Only participants who have posted their 150 min/week will get their name in the draw to win the pot. You can always get more exercise in but the MINIMUM is 150 minutes.

We will offer a weekly community walk at the college at lunch time on Wednesdays. Meet up at 12:15 and walk for 30 minutes over your lunch break.
