Let’s learn the trails together this spring by trying out a new trail each week.
Level of difficulty and ages posted below
This year we will have a couple different options on how to join hike nights.
Option 1. Four Weeks Easy, Cruisy Trails
4 weeks easy and moderate trails, approximatley 4-5km in length close to GP. New trail each week.
Tuesdays at 5:15pm April 25th – May 16th
Option 2. Four Weeks Hills and Hiking
4 weeks of hills and hiking with trails that have some elevation gain and loss. Moderate + 4-6km in length
Tuesdays at 5:15pm May – June 13th
Option 3. Combine both programs: All 8 Weeks!
The first 4 weeks are easy hikes then we move into more challenging terrain for the last 4 weeks.
Tuesdays at 5:15 Aril 25th – June 13th
Level of Difficulty
We hike at a 3.5-4km/hr pace
We take regular water breaks, photo breaks and chatting breaks!
We welcome newcomers and we never leave anyone behind (we have two hiking guides on all trips)
HOWEVER: if your fitness is below average you may find these hikes push you and challenge you. HINT: that is a good thing ;).
Our Mountain Madness Summit will be a moderate to challenging hike.
Ages: Suitable for ages 16+
Add on Mountain Madness June 24th
At the end of the 8 weeks you can also join our Mountain Madness hike for the first summit of the season. These first summer summits are A TON OF FUN! In the past we have chosen Mount Ambler and it has been a big hit but we let the group and weather dictate our Mountain of choice. You will be able to sign up at a later date as well. (Closer to June)
Add on’s JADEFit Custom Socks…so excited for these! $19
55+ Hiking Group
Our team mate Roland Diehl is also offering a 55+ Hiking Group on Select Saturday’s.
Roland has limited availability but he has put aside these dates for mini adventures. This group is for anyone who loves to get outdoors and fits into the age group of 55 years young +. Roland is 65 years young and he has been leading groups for a long time! He enjoys taking people out, meeting new people and teaching others. He has been my mentor for 13 years! Please be respectful and only sign up if you are 55+. This is not a group for beginners, but for people who can identify with the joys of aging together!
All profits from this group will go towards outfitting Roland with a new pack as he refuses to buy a new one so I will buy one for him! (he hates shopping)
April 30th – easy hike to get a feel for the group, meet everyone and hear everyone’s ideas and suggestions for what they want to do together.
