Barre and Bodyweight Strength and Stretch Class
My absolute FAVORITE way to “work out”
Barre is ballet inspired fitness. It takes elements from dance, pilates and yoga and fuses them into one of the best bodyweight fitness classes out there. My barre and bodyweight class will combine elements of barre with traditional bodyweight movements as well as lengthening muscles through stretching as we move through the class.
Although this class uses mainly bodyweight, we still get our heart rate up through low impact cardio segments to warm the body using full body movements. We will work, then recover, work then recover so you leave the class feeling refreshed and not exhausted.
I taught barre for three years before covid and I still have people tell me they were in the best shape of their lives when they were taking my classes. We saw visible results in just 8 weeks.
This is my return to group fitness and I am teaching out of the beautiful new Rooted Heart Yoga and Art Studio. This will be a 6 week class with options to extend for another session if we get momentum.
